The City of Joondalup is located in the fast-growing northwest corridor of Perth, with its southern boundary just 15 kilometres from the Central Business District of Perth. The City is home to an amazing coastline stretching for 17kms between Marmion and Burns Beach including sandy beaches, rocky cliffs, coastal vegetation and the marine environment. The City’s coastline is a popular destination for the local community, visitors and tourists and is a perfect destination for the Coastal Quest Triathlon.

Team XTR (Triathlon and Multisports Club) was established to provide an alternative option to triathletes and multisports athletes both experienced or wanting to try the sport and for those looking for a club with a fresh outlook. Our club members reside primarily in the Joondalup, Mindarie, Wanneroo and Perth districts of Western Australia. While still young, our club has attracted some experienced athletes with high performance credentials as well as newcomers and juniors. We strive to support athletes, triathletes and multi-sport athletes of all levels through our support network and training sessions, club races, coaching clinics and social activities.
